Mole’s Adventure, a nine minute cardboard animation, was found in a Japanese warehouse this February. The 1958 anime was found in good condition, and filmed in color. Mole’s Adventure has been declared the oldest surviving anime in the world, and will be reshown on Japanese TV next month.
